Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, & Belonging Commitment

At Unbridled, our core mission is to help companies connect with their people. That can only be accomplished if we are first connecting and engaging authentically with ourselves, each other, our people, and all those with whom we collaborate. We are committed to creating a diverse, caring community where everyone can feel like they belong, no matter their race, ethnicity, religion, age, gender, sexual orientation, or ability. With a healthy variety of perspectives, where every voice has a place to be heard, respected, and empowered, we are collectively rewarded as inclusion encourages teamwork and innovation.

We acknowledge that developing and cultivating a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion is a continuous process. We are committed to putting forth the work and grace needed to move towards this ideal.

This statement guides us and compliments our values.

This statement was drafted with care and attention and represents our beliefs and values, our hopes, and aspirations — it is a promise to be true to who we are. It serves as a framework for building a shared vision within our company. It charges us to confront actions that don’t line up with our cornerstones, and when it is applied across our community, it serves as a roadmap for inclusive decision-making.  

Specifically, our DEI&B statement is used in the following ways: 

  • Employee training and onboarding 
  • Guidelines in our recruiting and hiring process, including processing our job descriptions for gender-bias language 
  • Inform how we consider and collaborate with our vendors and partners 
  • Serve as a catalyst for change and action initiatives within our company 

We live this commitment through action.

In moving beyond words to action, there are several ways we bring our commitment to life through programs and initiatives at Unbridled:

Hiring: In our hiring process we train all hiring managers on bias and other areas where their decisions can impact the diversity of the team. We also review our job descriptions regularly using Gender Decoder and other tools to check for non-inclusive language and other items that might deter diverse candidates from applying. We have recently updated our recruiting website to more accurately reflect our commitment to creating a diverse community. 

Onboarding: During our two-day orientation program new hires are educated on our culture, how our values play out day to day in our work and the emphasis we place on making sure each member of our team feels that they belong. We assign them a company advocate, encourage involvement in Unbridled Clubs and create multiple connection opportunities to have them feel part of the team from their first day. 

Training: We conduct regular training across topics such as Bias Awareness, Understanding & Addressing Microaggressions, and Allyship. These training sessions are interactive and allow participants to provide feedback that we then present to leadership and our Belonging Team to further our DEI&B initiatives. 

Partnering: Each of our vendor partners completes a Diversity & Inclusion Questionnaire so that we can report on these statistics to meet client diversity requirements.
